The academy’s purpose
The program connects language structure with meaningful communication. Learners build literacy and pronunciation while using Arabic to speak, understand, describe, ask, read, and write.
Courses support personal, academic, and professional goals, with cultural context helping the language feel like more than a set of rules.
View the course pathAman Alzaim was born and raised in Damascus. Her background combines more than 20 years of teaching with curriculum development experience in languages and mathematics.
She studied Civil Engineering at the University of Damascus and later completed ESL studies at Algonquin College in Canada, alongside Arabic as a second language professional training.
That mix of structure, teaching experience, and cross-language insight shapes Al Fikr’s practical approach for adult non-native speakers.
